Admission Process
Step 1: Inquire & Visit
We invite you to tour our San Jose preschool and Sunnyvale Preschool campus. We often find that your experience on a tour will help tell our story better than any other form of communication. During your initial visit, the director of the School will talk with you about your child and your expectations and discuss the program information followed by initial observation and assessment of the child. This informal discussion allows us to understand more about your family, and your educational philosophies.
You can schedule a tour by calling the Program Manager for both locations at 408-387-9666
or
priyaspreciousmoments@gmail.com
Please note that all prospective families are required to tour our campus prior to applying.
Step 2: Apply
Once you have decided that Precious Moments Preschool is a good fit for your family, you are welcome to apply. We require a non-refundable 50 percent of the total tuition as an Application Fee with your completed application and to reserve the spot. The fee is used towards the first month’s tuition deducting the $100 registration.
Step 3: Attend the playgroup and/or parent interview
Preschool and Junior Pre-K: We do not formally meet or interview children applying to the Preschool and Junior Pre-K programs. After submitting and paying for your application, parents are invited to come for an interview and brief orientation about the facility. An Enrollment packet will be provided at this point. The Enrollment packet describes policies of school and list of things needed for your child. Please go through packet and call for any questions.
Step 4: Enroll
Once offered admission, families must complete an Admission Agreement and pay both a Registration Fee and a Final Balance Deposit (one month’s tuition) to secure the space. Both of these payments are non-refundable. We will secure the paperwork in child’s file with a start date.
Step 5: First Day
Before your child’s first day of school, you will need to have returned the completed enrollment packet, including the Physician’s Report to be filled out by your child’s pediatrician (the physician report takes time to be filled by a physician it is recommended to take physician’s appointment as soon as you want the child to attend the preschool). We recommend you come with your child to visit the classroom and meet the teachers prior to your child’s first day.
